2009: Averaged 40.6 yards per punt during the 2009 regular season. Eleven punts of 50-plus yards and 10 downed inside the 20-yard line. Long of 57 yards against Florida State. Best single game average of 45.4 against Pitt. Saw his streak of 114 straight punts without a block end at Rutgers. Started the season as the team’s field goal kicker, but relinquished duties to Eric Schwartz after going 1-5 over the first six games. Also handled kickoffs during first two games of the year. Finishes his career with an average of 40.3 yards per punt on 174 total punt. Ranks third all-time in scoring with 169 points. Played in 48 career games, one of the best marks ever at USF. Was 91-93 all-time in PATs, the best percentage of any USF kicker.

2008: Began season as place kicker and punter. Relinquished kicking duties to freshman Maikon Bonani. Averaged 39.7 yards per punt with six kicks of 50 yards or more. 20 of his punts were fair caught and 16 were downed inside the 20 yard line. Set a program record for the fewest touchbacks in a single season with just two. Averaged single-game best 45.8 yards over six punts against UCF. Longest punt of the season was a 55-yarder against FIU. Connected on 1-of-4 field goal attempts. Also kicked off for two games (NC State and Pitt) and averaged 62-plus yards per attempt.

2007: USF’s primary punter and kicker after first game of the year. Finished season 19-of-29 on field goal attempts and 6-for-11 from 40 or more. Made 10 of his last 11 field goal attempts with the 11th being blocked at Syracuse. Long of 47 against Rutgers. Connected from as far as 62 yards in practice during 2007. Averaged 41.6 yards per punt and ranked second in the BIG EAST in the category for much of the season. 11 of 58 punts went for 50-plus yards with a long of 61 at Syracuse. 17 punts downed inside the 20 and 15 were fair catches. Despite 2-for-6 effort, played hero with game-tying 19-yard field goal at No. 17 Auburn. Named BIG EAST Special Teams Player of the Week on Oct. 8 after converting on both field goal attempts and averaging 43.8 yards per punt, including two inside the 15-yard line against FAU. One punt of at least 50 yards in five straight games from Auburn to UCF.

2006: Primary punter in the Bulls’ second and third game of the season, although he got in one late punt in the season opener vs. McNeese State (9/2) after Ilia Petrov struggled. Fared marginally well vs. Florida International (9/9) with five punts for a 37.4 average, including a long of 47 and three of five punts inside the 20. But after a 31.3 average on three punts at UCF (9/16), he gave way to rugby-style punter Justin Teachey. Stayed poised and eventually won field goal and PAT chores during the North Carolina (10/14) game. Made good on first-career field goal from 27 yards in that game and added two PATs in USF’s win. Was 5-of-9 on field goals for the season, including the 56-yard BIG EAST record kick vs. Syracuse (11/11), when he also made good from 47 yards. Made 13-of-14 PATs. Finished season with 10 punts for 34.3 average and a long of 47, with four downed inside the 20.

ROBINSON HIGH SCHOOL: First team all-county in Tampa Tribune and St. Petersburg Times. Ranked 44th best player in Tampa Bay area by St. Petersburg Times. 3-of-5 on field goals, including a school-record 47-yard effort. Added 58 PATs for 67 points to lead all kickers in Hillsborough County. In addition to kicking and punting for Robinson High, he played trombone in the marching band. As a junior he was 5-of-7 on field goals and had a 40.5 punt average. 63-of-64 on PATs that year. Second team all-state as a junior punter. Coached by Mike DePue. Played club soccer for Tampa Knights Blackwatch.
